Accident & Emergency Department

Opening Hours:

• 8:00 am - 8:00pm, Monday to Friday

Outside of these hours all accidents & emergencies should be taken to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital, Dooradoyle, Limerick.

Access to Service:

• Transfer by ambulance as a result of a 999 emergency call
• Referral by a G.P.
• By direct access to the Department

Hospital Charges:

A&E Charge - €100.00

Exemptions to Charges:

• Patients who have been referred by their GP and have a referral letter
• Patients who have medical card
• Members of the Defence Forces

Please remember the Accident & Emergency Department is for real Emergencies only. Do not use it instead of visiting your GP.
